Medical Metrics (MMI) utilizes industry leading software solutions to accomplish multimodality image review and advanced quantitative assessments for clinical trials. These validated software packages are vendor independent, DICOM compliant, and, when integrated into MMI’s HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant data management system, create a seamless system for image management, analysis, and results delivery.
MMI provides independent image analysis for the full spectrum of cardiovascular imaging modalities. Because our physicians practice within a high volume clinical environment and are active clinical trial investigators, they are experienced in the analysis of both novel and standard of care imaging modalities. Since 2000, these physicians have analyzed thousands of imaging studies including echocardiography exams, angiography studies, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT and MR exams. A summary of supported modalities and associated assessments is as follows:
Echocardiography
- Systolic/Diastolic myocardial function myocardial function
- Valvular function (stenosis/regurgitation)
- Chamber characteristics (hypertrophy/enlargement)
- Extracardiac abnormalities (pericardial/aortic)
Vascular Ultrasound
- Atherosclerotic burden
- Vessel dimensions and/or stenosis
- Stent and graft patency
- Carotid Intima Thickness (IMT)
Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS)
- Atherosclerosis location, severity, and composition
- Degree and location of neointima hyperplasia
- Arterial remodeling
- Stent deployment/apposition
Invasive Angiography
- Minimum lumen diameter
