The Medical Metrics (MMI) partnership with the Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center (MDHVC) provides sponsors with access to experts and thought leaders in the area of cardiovascular imaging. The MDHCV clinical trial team includes vascular and cardiac surgeons, cardiologists with imaging expertise, electrophysiologists who provide imaging protocol consultation, and independent multimodality image review for clinical trials. For trials with multiple imaging modalities, the depth and diversity of experts allows sponsors to choose one core lab for the analysis of all study images.

Recognized as a premier research institution, the MDHVC currently participates in over 180 clinical trials and is responsible for developing advanced surgical techniques and therapies that are now considered standard of care. In addition, physicians at MDHVC have pioneered many of the imaging modalities currently used in cardiovascular medicine such as nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiac Doppler. They have developed novel quantitative methods for image analysis that are applied routinely in clinical investigations.
